LePlan-Vermeersch, the southern French winery of Dirk Vermeersch from the Kempen region and his daughter Ann, has won awards at the Berliner Wine Trophy. With around 14,000 entries, it is the largest wine competition in the world. The Vermeersch family claimed no less than four gold medals and one silver.
