Dirk Vermeersch had a lot of dreams. He fulfilled all of them. When it was time to retire, one dream was left: buying a house in the south of France and start making wine.

<p>In 2011 Donnafugata calculated the Carbon Footprint of Contessa Entellina and Pantelleria wines, looking at the entire production cycle: from vineyard to bottling.  </p>

As you may have noticed, we have had some difficulties in obtaining our wines from Wente. In this way we would like to briefly explain the cause of this, so that you may have a better picture of the problems that are occurring in the port of San Francisco at the moment.<p></p>

<div>Lovely aromas of flowers and plums. You can taste a lot of plum and mocha with also a fine amaount of spice.<br />The wine is soft, with fine tannins, has freshness and length.  A classic, delicious red wine.</div>

MED Rosé is made from Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. The wines are produced according to the Terra-Vitis principle, so with respect for nature, the environment and people.

<p>Calalenta Rosé is made from 100% Merlot. The vineyards are on an excellent location in the South of the Abruzzo area, pruned low and planted on steep hills at an altitude of up to 250 meters above sea level, producing a wine with an excellent balance between aromas and acidity.</p>
