The Vesevo Greco di Tufo 2018 received 91 points and Vesevo Taurasi 2012 received 90 points. The comments of the jury were as following:
Greco di Tufo: “ The wine
shows a crisp, bright and transparent character that makes this wine a pleasure
to drink. Pair it with tomato salad topped with black olives, shallots and
garden-fresh basil. This wine offers much-needed sharpness and linearity. Drink
this Greco within the next two years while those citrusy primary aromas are
still intact.”
For Taurasi Esis: “This is a modern and contemporary expression
with lots of oak-driven spice, chocolate, nutmeg and baking spice. The 2012
Taurasi finishes with wild cherry and pressed blackberry, all followed by those
savory aromas driven from up aging in barriques and Botte grande.”
