What does Horizon stand for
Horizont Brewing is an innovative, independent craft brewery based in Budapest Hungary. One of the first big names in craft brewing in Hungary. They are most proud of the many medals they have won with their beers. Horizont Brewing was the first Central European brewery to win the Alltech Craft Beer Cup in Dublin. In addition, Horizont's beers in Untappd are highly valued.
Horizont Night shift series visiting Goose Island
Just a little longer but they will be coming our way again later this year! The Night Shift BA series. A number of beautiful dark rascals that have matured in different barrels. Last year's series was top notch! For example, Horizont took the plunge and had this series tasted by the gentlemen of Goose Island. In other words, the "kings" and inventors of the Barrel Aged beers!
The owners/founders John and Greg Hall along with the brewmaster, Jon Nagaski at the Clybourn Brewery have taken the time to sample these beers.
And what did they think...
They said it "exceeded their expectations" and that the packaging is "inspiring". Proud and honored are the men of Horizont. Maybe the 2021 variant is better, at least we are eager!! So keep an eye on the WT-Beer site and the newsletter!
