Cantina Tramin - A new day for old world Sauvignon Blanc!
We have had the high quality wines of Cantina Tramin in our range for some time now.
This includes the Tramin Sauvignon Blanc 2019, which was recently awarded 90 points by the WineEnthusiast. Which puts this glass of wine up there with the 10 best Sauvignon Blancs in the world.
WineEnthusiast is an American company primarily engaged in the disclosure and assessment of wine.
According to the WineEnthusiast review, the wine has the classic Sauvignon Blanc aromas of citrus, exotic fruit and elderflower. The fresh notes underline the acidity and flavors of grapefruit, peach and pineapple ensure a pleasant finish.
The grapes come from vineyards in Tramin and Montagna, where the vines stand on calcareous clay soil with pebbles. The vineyards are at an altitude of 350 - 500 meters. The grapes are carefully pressed immediately after the harvest and then placed in steel tanks.
