
The harvest of Domaine Bousquet started in January with the sparkling grapes and ended in april with the harvest of the Cabernet Sauvignon. Due to an average temperature of 28 °C in January and February the maturation was slow and even.
Luckily there was a lack of diseases due to the dry weather.
Each variety was harvested when perfectly ripe for it's destination.
This years production was on average 5% higher than in 2018, due to an increase of the short and long cycle varieties and a decrease of the intermediate cycle varieties.
Experts say it promises to be the best vintage in 20 years with an amazing quality along the different grapes varieties!
