Caliterra uses DIAM corks for quality wines

In order to ensure quality of its wines, Caliterra Tributo will be protecting its best wines with DAIM corks.
The secret of this cork lies in the registered DIAMANT technology. The basis for this technology is cleaning the grinded cork with supercritical CO2. This ensures the use of a cork that lacks anisoles and more than 150 molecules that could contaminate the wine.
The DIAM Cork has lots of benefits.
The ageing potential of the wine will be better.
The cork stays well for a longer period of time, it doesn't need moisture or the perfect circumstances.
The aromas and flavors of the product are preserved as it was produced and guarantees a 'zero cork' taste.
Less sulfur dioxide is needed to preserve the wine, due to the lower oxygen permeability of the cork.
Caliterra will cork each new Caliterra Tributo Vintage with the DIAM cork, starting with the 2016 harvest of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere and Syrah, and the 2018 vintage of Malbec.
