"The 2011 Cresasso is a pure expression of Corvina Veronese. This ia a thickly extracted and brooding red wine with a dark and super dense appearance. The bouquet opens to dried blackberry, prune, plum, exotic spice and moist chewing tobacco. This is an almost dry red wine with traces of residual sugar that add to the softness and the general richness of the mouthfeel. On the palate, the wine shows bold structure, texture and long richness. It offers the supersized vinous characteristics that are typical of wines made in the Valpolicella."
